Lorne Park
Located in South Mississauga, Lorne Park is one of the city’s most sought-after neighbourhoods. Take a drive down the quiet tree-lined streets and you’ll find a blend of luxury properties, custom builds, and charming homes that have been maintained with great pride. A fantastic neighbourhood for families, this residential area feeds into top-ranked schools, walking distance to the lake, incredible parks and offers commuter-friendly access to the QEW, Lakeshore, Clarkson GO Station, and Port Credit GO Station.
Oakville
Rated in the top four communities to live in Canada, by Macleans magazine, Oakville is a very desirable waterfront town with plenty of character. You’ll love the shops and restaurants of downtown Oakville, the diverse neighbourhoods throughout the area, and the fact that it has some of the most highly-rated public and private schools in Ontario. Enjoy the many parks and trails, as well as a strong arts community, here in Oakville.
Port Credit
Often referred to as Mississauga’s “Village on the Lake,” Port Credit is a vibrant, tight-knit community which is experiencing an exciting amount of growth. The Harbour, at the mouth of the Credit River, has everything you need to enjoy a day on the water; you can boat, fish, sail, canoe, hike the waterfront trail, and so much more. Writing this in the wintertime, I’ve been enjoying watching the outdoor skating on the river. The community overall is incredibly walkable, with plenty of shops, restaurants with engaging patios, and services at your doorstep. The QEW, Gardiner Expressway, and Port Credit GO Station are all nearby as well.
Streetsville
For small-town charm close to the big city, come to Streetsville. This quaint pocket of North Mississauga features a wonderful downtown core along Queen Street with popular shops, bakeries, bars, restaurants, and more—all next to the beautiful Streetsville Memorial Park. It’s an easy walk to the Streetsville GO Station. This community is especially loved for its events, including Christmas in the Village and the one-of-a-kind Bread and Honey Festival.
